Our work, in context

The story behind the photographs

Our work at The Post in Vancouver includes a Celebration grid ceiling installation. The photographs show the repeating overhead system from several viewpoints, connecting the wider ceiling pattern with the details of its installation.

What the photographs show

The elongated repeating pattern is best understood from a wider view. Looking along the grid reveals the visual continuity of the installation and its relationship with adjacent exposed services.

Start with the look you want

The long panel lines draw the eye through the interior. For an owner planning a similar feature, a reflected ceiling plan and a few reference images help explain the intended spacing, direction and relationship to the walls. A ceiling finish should be selected together with the lighting, rather than treated as a final decorative purchase.

Bring the actual product name and panel dimensions to your enquiry. Different ceiling systems can look similar in a photograph while requiring different supports, trims and installation details.

Plan what happens above the panels

Ask how the design will accommodate lights, sprinklers, air distribution and future access. The project team needs room to install and maintain those items without losing the ceiling pattern you chose.

The photograph illustrates the finished appearance in the area shown. It does not establish an acoustic rating, a fire rating or the specification for another building. Those requirements belong in your project documents.

Ask Rambo about your ceiling

Send your ceiling area, location, drawings or photographs, and the panel system you are considering. Rambo can discuss the installation scope and the information needed for a project-specific quote.

Our team is based in Richmond and serves Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. For a comparable project, contact Rambo directly so we can review the actual drawings, installation scope and site conditions. The photographs are supplied by Mason McKenzie / Rambo Wall & Ceiling Limited.
